KrisEnergy (SGX:SK8) has begun drilling of the Rossukon-3 exploration well in G6/48 in the Gulf of Thailand, its third third exploration well to be drilled in the G6/48 contract area in 2015.
The two previous wells, Rossukon-2 and Rossukon-2ST, were drilled in March.
Rossukon-2ST the side-track off the Rossukon-2 oil and gas discovery well encountered around 140 feet of oil and gas net pay.
The earlier well, Rossukon-2, had a total depth of 5,460 feet and encountered a total of five hydrocarbon bearing reservoirs.
